#579: Heart Rate Pulse Sensor

R113.40

The Heart Rate Pulse Sensor is a device that can be used to measure a person's heart rate, or pulse, by detecting the changes in blood flow through their finger. It is often used in combination with an Arduino microcontroller, which can read the sensor's output and use it to calculate the heart rate.

To use the Heart Rate Pulse Sensor with an Arduino, you will need to connect the sensor to the Arduino using wires. The sensor has three pins: VCC, GND, and OUT. The VCC pin should be connected to the 5V pin on the Arduino, the GND pin should be connected to one of the GND pins on the Arduino, and the OUT pin should be connected to an analog input pin on the Arduino.

Once the sensor is connected, you can use the Arduino to read the sensor's output and calculate the heart rate. There are many different ways to do this, but one common approach is to use the Arduino's pulseIn() function to measure the time between each pulse, and then use that time to calculate the heart rate.

It is also possible to use the Heart Rate Pulse Sensor with other microcontrollers or single-board computers, such as the Raspberry Pi, as long as they have the necessary input/output capabilities and can communicate with the sensor over a serial interface.

Use this sensor to accurately detect heart beats & pulses from the human body.
