#207: LM393 Light Sensor Module

R34.40

A LM393 light sensor module is a type of electronic device that is used to detect and measure light levels. It consists of a light-sensitive element, such as a photoresistor or photodiode, and an operational amplifier (op-amp) that is used to amplify the small signals generated by the light-sensitive element. The output of the LM393 light sensor module is typically a voltage or current that is proportional to the intensity of the light that is being detected. The module can be used in a variety of applications, including light-sensitive switches, burglar alarms, and automatic lighting systems. It is commonly used in DIY electronics projects and is a useful component for any electronics enthusiast or professional.

The LM393 is a simple photo-resistor light sensor that has both analog and digital outputs. The digital output has a trim potentiometer that can be used to set a trigger light level.

Perfect for Arduino and Rasberry PI projects.

Module Features:

1. The brightness of surrounding environment and the light intensity can be detected (compare with the photoresistor, directivity is relatively good, can perceive the fixed direction of the light source)
2. Sensitivity adjustable the blue digital potentiometer adjustment
3. Operating voltage 3.3V-5V
4. Digital switching outputs (0 and 1)
5. With fixed bolt hole for easy installation
6. Small board PCB size: 3.2cm * 1.4cm / 1.25" * 0.55"
