The 12V Programmable Timer Relay is a versatile and user-friendly module designed to automate various projects. It combines an electromechanical output relay with a control circuit, allowing you to set specific time intervals for turning on and off appliances, lights, or other electrical devices.

Key Features of the 12V Programmable Timer Relay:

  1. Relay Type: The module uses an electromechanical relay with one channel, meaning it can control one electrical load.

  5. Coil Pick-Up Voltage: The coil pick-up voltage is 9V DC, which means the relay will activate when the control signal reaches this voltage level.

  6. Coil Drop-Out Voltage: The coil drop-out voltage is 1.2V DC, which means the relay will deactivate when the control signal drops below this voltage level.

  10. Onboard Timer Limit: The timer limit of the module is 999 seconds or approximately 6.65 minutes. You can set time intervals in seconds, minutes, or hours.

  11. Max Switching Rate: The maximum switching rate of the relay is 2000ms or 2 seconds.

12V Programmable Timer Assembly: The 4 Modes

  • P-1: When triggered the relay will activate and the countdown will start, once it reaches 0 the relay will deactivate.
  • P-2: When triggered the countdown will start, once it reaches 0 the relay will activate and a second countdown will start, and once it reaches 0 again the relay will deactivate.
  • P-3: This mode is a loop, a countdown will start, and once it finishes the relay will activate and a second countdown will start. When it reaches 0 the relay will deactivate and the process starts over.
  • P-4: While triggered the relay is deactivated when the trigger is removed the countdown starts as soon as it reaches zero the relay is activated.

How to Enter the 12V Programmable Timer Assembly Setup

  1. After powering up the module, hold the button K1. This will show the modes.
  2. To cycle through the modes, press button K1.
  3. Press K2 to enter the desired mode, and to cycle through the digits press K2 again(some modes have 2 sets of digits 1 for on 1 for off times).
  4. Press K3 to cycle through the numbers. 0-9
  5. After the time is set you can move the decimal space by pressing K3, doing this will allow you to set microseconds, seconds, minutes, and hours.
